JUST LIKE YOU awarded grant from All Stars Helping Kids

All Stars Helping Kids (ASHK) is a robust philanthropic platform that enables all past and present professional athletes to fully leverage their brand to address issues that impact children.



The organization has distributed over $20 million to high-performing nonprofits since its founding in 1989.


We are honored to have been presented with a seed grant from ASHK and this will enable us to expand our programming in the San Fernando Valley / Pacoima area in the Fall.

The Pepperdine Voyage: A Lilly Endowment Program on Vocation awarded JUST LIKE YOU $2500 in funding for the service-related internship for Graziadio School of Business and Management student, Jerry Darko. This award is granted to service and social action oriented programs, especially those affiliated with faith-based organizations, which:

· address and/or seek to alleviate poverty and hunger
· address and or seek to promote peace and justice
· will expose students to social and physical need in the world

YouthNoise.com invited all PlayCity interns to compete to create profiles on their site. They would award two prizes of $150 for best project profile and $150 for best individual profile.
